What is CabinetMate, and should I choose DuraBuild or DuraFuse?
CabinetMate is a cabinet refacing kit that replaces your doors, drawer fronts, and hardware without replacing your cabinets — built to order with everything needed to install. DuraBuild is our original system with the widest range of styles and colors; DuraFuse is our newer, seamless one-piece surface. Both carry the same 5-year warranty. How does refacing compare to full cabinet replacement?
Full replacement typically runs $15,000–$25,000 per kitchen and takes weeks. Refacing costs a fraction of that and installs in a fraction of the time — your existing cabinet boxes stay in place, with no demolition or disruption.
What's included, and how long does it take?
Custom-sized doors and drawer fronts, hinges, pulls, color-matched paint, screws, bumpers, and video instructions — no minimum order. Production takes 5 business days; shipping depends on distance from our production facility.
What tools does my installer need?
Sandpaper, a drop cloth, a paint brush, an electric drill with 1/16" and 3/16" bits, a hammer, and a Phillips screwdriver. An electric sander helps but isn't required.
How do I clean the doors?
Wipe with a cloth dampened with soapy water. Avoid all-purpose or citrus-based degreasers — the solvents can damage the finish.
What warranty covers CabinetMate?
Every kit carries a 30-day satisfaction guarantee with a full refund, a 5-year product warranty, and lifetime coverage on every hinge. DuraBuild also carries a lifetime warranty against delamination.
What if my measurements were wrong?
You'll need to reorder with corrected measurements — all parts are custom-made and can't be returned or exchanged. Orders of 10 or fewer parts typically ship within one business day.
